I wanted to start my blog by posting about my favorite movie of all time, and I figured I would watch it while posting. Sure, I know the movie by heart and can recite the entire script in my sleep, but it's no fun to post about a movie you aren't watching. So I went to my DVD rack and headed straight to the shelves reserved for my 80s movies (in chronological order of course.) I opened the case and *gasp* the special features disc was there, but I was missing the actual movie! I was in such turmoil that I couldn't bring myself to post about a different movie. However, my sister-in-law found my beloved movie at her house and I should have it back within a week. I would also like to add that as my senior year has just begun, I will not have the time to post as frequently as I would like. I may be lucky to pump out one review a month. Right now I am up to my neck in busy every weekday and every night besides Friday and the weekend. I am extremely involved in theatre, both in school and after school. This means I will be doing quite a few performances and rehearsing an outstanding amount. Please forgive me if I can't get to posting quickly. I hope to be back within the week with my first REAL post. Stay tuned!

80s Movies - An Intro
Oh, the 80s. It was a decade that sparked...well, all things wonderful. And although I was born in the 90s, I live in the 80s.
So this is the start of a new blog in which I hope to discuss 80s movies, star 80s icons, and the cult which follows. I have recently begun to collect 80s movies. I currently have over 30 in my collection, and it is growing as fast as the economic situation will allow. I mostly dabble in the 80s teen movies which gained a great following thanks to icons such as Molly Ringwald and John Cusack.
I am completely open to suggestions and would love to hear movie recommendations as well as your thoughts on each movie or person I choose to write about. Please keep comments somewhat friendly toward other guests.
